These Terms of Use govern your use of the ebookpedagogy.com website, the DeepMargin application, and any digital publications purchased from eBook Pedagogy LLC ("we", "our", "us"). By using these services you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Publications and Licensing

Personal Use Licence

When you purchase a volume in the Teaching Pre-College Organ Students series, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and annotate the publication on your own device for personal and professional use as an individual educator. You may not distribute, resell, lend, or sublicense the publication to any other person.

Content Protection

Your copy of a publication is personal to you and must not be shared with others. Circumventing, disabling, or attempting to remove any technical protection or identifying information applied to a publication is prohibited and may constitute a violation of applicable copyright law.

Permitted Uses

  • Reading on your own device in DeepMargin or another EPUB reading application.
  • Creating personal highlights, bookmarks, and annotations within DeepMargin.
  • Printing a reasonable number of pages for personal study or lesson preparation.

Prohibited Uses

  • Reproducing, copying, or distributing substantial portions of any publication.
  • Sharing your copy or allowing others to use it.
  • Removing or bypassing copyright notices or digital rights management.
  • Using the content for commercial purposes other than your own teaching practice.

2. DeepMargin Application

DeepMargin is a reading application provided by eBook Pedagogy LLC. It is offered as a free download and is designed for reading publications from eBook Pedagogy LLC, as well as other documents you have the right to read.

  • The application is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
  • We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the application at any time.
  • The AI annotation feature requires an active internet connection and transmits selected text to our annotation API. See our Privacy Policy for details.

3. AI Annotation Service

The DeepMargin annotation feature uses artificial intelligence to generate scholarly annotations. These annotations are provided for informational and educational purposes only. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated annotation for any particular purpose. You should verify important information through primary scholarly sources.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the Teaching Pre-College Organ Students series is the intellectual property of Elena Paradies and eBook Pedagogy LLC, protected by copyright. The DeepMargin application, website design, and associated software are the intellectual property of eBook Pedagogy LLC. All rights are reserved except as expressly stated in these terms.

5. Website Use

The ebookpedagogy.com website is provided for informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information current but do not warrant that all information is accurate or complete. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from this site.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, eBook Pedagogy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our publications, application, or website — including loss of data, interruption of service, or reliance on AI-generated content.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Indiana.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
