DeepMargin

An EPUB and PDF Reader built for scholars and curious people

DeepMargin is a mobile application built for scholars and curious readers. It reads multi-language text with an AI-powered annotation layer that delivers the deep context of a selected passage in English or the reader's native language — without leaving the page.

Library

Import and manage your EPUB and PDF collection from a clean grid view. Each book or document shows its cover image, title, and author. Books and documents are sorted by most recently opened, and the library persists across app restarts.

Reading

Full-screen reading with a clean overlay toolbar. Navigate by chapter, bookmark your current page, and return to the library at any time. Reading position is saved automatically so you always resume where you left off.

AI Annotation

Select any passage and a panel slides in from the left with a scholarly annotation, three to five related concepts, live web search results, and community notes from other readers of the same book — all in under ten seconds.

Highlights & Bookmarks

Highlight passages in four colours. Highlights render directly in the text and persist across sessions. The table of contents panel has dedicated tabs for Contents, Highlights, and Bookmarks — giving you a complete map of your annotations.

Built on Open Standards

DeepMargin uses only open, interoperable technologies.
